Don't fail to include these grand shrubs in your order, for when once planted they will be a con- stant source of pleasure. The plants we supply are strong, two year old plants, which will flower the first season. Note.—All hardy plants and shrubs should be planted early as possible in spring, before they begin growth ; at this time they are in a dormant state, and should be plant- ed permanently as soon as received. HYDRANGEA GRANDI- (Sometimes called "Storm ;) This is a grand plant; easily grown, very showy and attractive, lasting in bloom for months ; is perfectly hardy anywhere, needs no protection of any kind, and is, without any question, the finest hardy shrub in cultivation. It blooms in July, a time when no other shrub is in flower, the flowers remaining beautiful until destroyed by frost. The flowets are pure white, afterwards changing to pink, and are borne in immensepyramidal clusters more than a foot long, and nearly as much in diameter. It creates a sensation wherever seen, and has given more satisfaction than any plant we have ever sold. In our grounds the past season it made a splendid show and attacted universal atttnlion. For cemetery plots, for large estates, for persons with small residercts^—anj where, everyw here, it should be planltd.
