The Bautzen town hall from 1752 is located on the market square in the middle of the old city. Bautzen (Upper Sorbian Budyšin), Saxony, Germany. Built by order of King Ottokar I of Bohemia as a stone house for "seven aldermen". Destroyed by fire, rebuilt and destroyed again in 1704, during which the three gables facing the main market collapsed. When it was rebuilt in the Baroque style in 1705, the tower was given a three-story crown.
