An officer's shashka M 1909 for Bravery, awarded to Peter von Glasenapp Shashka for a double award with applied Orders of St. George and St. Anne. Russia, circa 1919. Single-edged blade fullered on both sides. The Cyrillic maker's mark and date "Zlatoust 1878" on the ricasso. Brass knuckle-bow hilt with floral design, tsar's cypher "N II" and on one side the Cyrillic inscription "For Bravery" on the knuckle-bow.
