The Marine Corps Exchange (MXC) welcomed a large crowd of Marines and civilians to the grand re-opening of the Marine Corps Exchange at Marine Corps Base Quantico (MCBQ) March 15. The grand re-opening was the culmination of the renovation that the MCX went through from February 2017 to January 2018. During this time lighting, restrooms, all the flooring and visual graphics for the store were updated. In addition, the store added numerous new brands and displays including new jewelry display cases and the addition of a new tactical section, to name a few. The MCX was built in the early 1980s and has been renovated four times since, with the last reno completed in 2007. It has been more than 10 years since the exchange has been updated. MCX staff hope to make the customer experience better and attract even more customers. (
