220401-N-MU154-0064 PHILADELPHIA (Nov. 8, 2022) Riders representing Warrior Escort, escort the hearse containing the remains of Radioman 3rd Class Charles A. Montgomery en route to his final resting place. Montgomery, 21, of Folcroft, Pennsylvania, was killed in the attack on Pearl Harbor while aboard (BB-37) USS Oklahoma, Dec. 7, 1941. Montgomerys remains were recovered between 1941 and 1944, but were unable to be identified until March 3, 2021.
