Church of Saint John, Helsington. Brigsteer, Kendal, Cumbria, England, United Kingdom, Europe.

The church was built in 1726 from an endowment by John Jackson of nearby Holeslack Farm. The church was a daughter church of Kendal parish church with a curate in residence in the parsonage in Brigsteer from 1840. The first Vicar was appointed in 1900. In 1931 the parish was combined with Underbarrow to share its Vicar and the parsonage was sold and renamed Helsington Lodge. The church has undergone several restorations over the years, the principle ones in the 1850's and in 1908.
