A. for the past year wasto unite the girls of Maryville College in loyalty to JesusChrist, and to lead tnem to accept Him as their personalSavior; to build them up in the knowledge of Christ, espe-cially thru Bible study and Christian service that theircharacter and conduct may be in accord with their organization has thereby, been permitted to associateour girls with the students of the world for the advance-ment of the Kingdom of God, and to enlist their devotionto the church and to the religious work of the institution. The devotional meetings have brought to us not onlydelightful, instructive and practical talks, together withthe expression of many talented musicians, but alsoheart-to-heart talks. The girls have responded in the openmeetings as never before which has resulted in an oppor-tunity for not only expressing our own ideas but in thelearning of the joy and satisfaction of the life that isworth while
