Mongolia: Agbarjin (Agvarjin) Khan, temporary khagan of the Northern Yuan Dynasty (r. 1454), 20th century. Agbarjin (Agvarjin) Jonon or Akbarjin Jonon (1423-1454) was a khagan claimant of the Forty and the Four of Mongolia. He was a youngest brother of Tayisung Khagan Toghtoa Bukha, whome he betrayed and overthrew at the behest of the Oirats, briefly becoming Khagan in 1454. The Oirats then promptly betrayed and murdered him, believing him to be untrustworthy as he had turned on his own brother.
