Bottlenose dolphin (Tursiops truncatus) riding the bow wave of a boat. This dolphin is found in all of the world's seas with the exception of the polar oceans. It lives in groups of around 10 to 15 individuals. Its main prey is fish, which it catches during agile underwater chases. Bottlenose dolphins commonly frolic around ships and seem to enjoy human company in the water, showing no fear. Photographed in the Canary Islands.
