MEDITERRANEAN SEA (Oct. 29, 2014) - The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Ross (DDG 71) fires its MK45 5-inch lightweight gun during a pre-action calibration fire exercise. Ross, homeported in Rota, Spain, is conducting naval operations in the 6th Fleet area of operations in support of national security interests in Europe.
