The Melasti Ceremony involves a number of rituals whereby one can see Balinese Hindu's worshiping God at the nearest source of water to their homes. In this rear view image looking over the shoulder of the group of women dressed in traditional white ceremonial clothes and looking directly into the sun they carry burning embers and place small banana leaf baskets full of flowers known as Canang Sari into the sea whilst chanting sacred words.
