Hershel “Woody” Williams, a retired United States Marine Corps member and last living Medal of Honor recipient from the Battle of Iwo Jima, holds a replica of a Thompson submachine gun Feb. 17, 2018, at the Wellington Banquet Center in Wichita Falls, Texas. Williams along with his fellow survivors of the Battle of Iwo Jima gather together every year for a reunion. Williams was the key speaker for this year’s reunion.
