DHAKA, BANGLADESH 19th November: Family members of death-row convict and Jamaat-e-Islami leader Ali Ahsan Mohammad Mojaheed have arrived at the Dhaka Central Jail to meet with him Dhaka on November 19, 2015. Twelve member of the family entered the jail around 1:45pm and left around 2:45pm Thursday. After meeting his father, Mabrur said: “He saw his father mentally strong and normal.” My father strongly said: “I am innocent, I am innocent, I am innocent” “Mujaheed said if he was hanged, it will be killing the innocent man in a cool brain,” said his son. While asked about seeking presidential mercy, Mabrur said: “The jail authority did not give any order of the review verdict to his father. After getting the order, his father will seek permission to meet his lawyers and through them, he will apply to the president, the guardian of the Constitution.” However, his father did not disclose what will be the content of the application to be sent to the president, said Mujaheed’s son.
