We found that our camping-ground was not a good one, as the water was tepid, and so nasty that the tea was almost undrinkable. However, we had some cocoa (pig's blood, the Indians call it), and so managed very well. On the following day we moved on about five miles, and camped near a small swamp, where we succeeded in p':king up some ducks,.
