Composers Nikolai Myaskovsky and Aram Khachaturian, 1933. Khachaturian (1903-1978) studied composition under Myaskovsky (1881-1950) at the Moscow Conservatory between 1929 and 1934. Khachaturian's works were inspired by the folk music of his native Armenia. Found in the collection of the Russian State Archive of Literature and Art, Moscow.
