The S. A. T. C. andS. N. T. C. were disbanded on Dec. 20, 1918. Through the efforts of the University the Reserve Officers Training Corpswas established and the work of the new military organization under CaptainBall, began on March 5, 1919. The purpose of the R. O. T. C. is to keep pre-pared for future emergencies and which also put our men in line for com-missions. Each spring term the last week is devoted to Military Contest, in which muchrivalry is developed, and much interest is manifested,
