The staff had funthis year teaching theUni students the fun-damentals of physicaleducation. The staffconsists of Al Ledgin,Tom Scott, Bonnie By-ers-Moxley, and direc-tor Sally Walker. Sallycommented that Unihas one of the bestfitness programs in thestate. Each teacher hasa different reason forenjoying Uni. CoachScott likes Uni becauseof .. .the low-key en-vironment, while Sal-ly likes Uni becausethe kids are great! i i. UWIVEKSHY UbKAK* 63 Fine Arts Department The Fine Arts Trio entertained the school with art, mu-sic, and play productions. Karen Hellyer, visual artteacher, taught subfreshmen 3-D cartooning and pack-age-design. Studio Art students sharpened their per-ception in Art 1 and 2, with education students fromParkland taking part. Hellyer also served as yearbookadvisor/teacher. Laura Reneau directed the schoolplays, sponsored the student production, and taught Dra-ma class to potential great Thespians. Richard Murphyintroduced two choruses, fourth and eighth hour, ex-panded Orchestra, and led Madrigals singing both duringthe Holiday and Spring seasons.
