The King Vulture at the Gladys Porter Zoo in Brownsville , Texas,

The King Vulture gets it's name from it's large size. It's home ranges from Southern Mexico to Argentina. It does not migrate but remains in the same area living in family groups. While not on the endangered list, the King Vulture population is on the decline, due to loss of habitat.
