BREMERTON, Washington (April 18, 2017) A Sailor signs a pledge to prevent sexual assault during an event promoting Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month (SAAPM) in the hangar bay of the aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74). This is one of many events Stennis is holding during SAAPM, including a teal ribbon display from April 17-19, and Denim Day, April 26. John C. Stennis is conducting a planned incremental availability (PIA) at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility, during which the ship is undergoing scheduled maintenance and upgrades.
