The church of San Pedro in the town of Arcos de la Frontera, in the province of Cádiz (Spain) is a Catholic temple that represents one of the great exponents of late Gothic religious architecture in this province. The main altarpiece is the oldest in the province of Cádiz, beautifully made and built between 1538 and 1547 with the characteristics of the late Gothic and some Renaissance elements. It has the importance of being one of the few examples of an altarpiece with a Gothic structure in the archbishopric of Seville. With a Gothic structure and made of golden wood, it has two bodies high and seven streets plus two lateral wings, in the center it has images attributed to Antón Vázquez, leaving the rest occupied by 24 paintings on panels, the work of the painters Hernando de Esturmio. , Pedro Fernández de Guadalupe and Antón Sánchez de Guadalupe. It is crowned with a crest at the top.
