COMPRESSED AIRCompressed air is to be very extensively used throughout therepair work, and it is the intention to run a series of air-pipe lines all around thebuilding from thetwo air compressorslocated, as seen ingeneral plan, nearthe forge the pipe linesflexible hose con-nections may be hadto supply the airchisels, drills, rivet-ers, hoists, etc. Theair tools are to be ofthe Chicago Pneu-matic type. The twonew air compressors, complete with two 18-in. x 36-in. air tanks, are ordered fromthe National Electric Company, of Milwaukee, and are to beof the motor-driven two-stage type, with a capacity of 100 of free air per minute, cylinders 8^2 ins.
