The tombs of Mirza Ghiyas-ud-din or Ghiyas Beg (later known as Itmad-ud-Daulah) and his wife, Asmat Begum. Mirza Ghiyas-ud-din or Ghiyas Beg (later known as Itmad-ud-Daulah) and his wife, Asmat Begum have tombs in the mausoleum built by their daughter, Nur Mahal – also known as Nur Jahan. Itmad Ud Daulah's Tomb houses the body of Mirza Ghiyas Beg, the father of Noor Jahan / Nur Jahan. After Noor Jahan married the Mughal Emperor Jahangir she became Empress and her father, Mirza Ghiyas Beg, was appointed the Lord Treasurer of the Empire – or Itimad-ud-Daulah. After her father's death, Noor Jehan built the mausoleum for him, from 1622-1625 (47)
