The fixingfor the top rail is shown in plan, dovetailed and tenoned, whilst the drawerrails are tenoned into the legs. Cupboard bottoms are likewise tenoned intofront and back legs, with the intervening portionscrewed into rebates worked on the inside bottomedges of ends and divisions, form-ing a flush or level surface under-neath.
