Michael Gapes (born 1952), British Change UK politician serving as Member of Parliament (MP) for Ilford South since the 1992 general election. Gapes was a Labour and Co-operative MP until February 2019, when he left in protest at Jeremy Corbyn's leadership to form The Independent Group along with six other Labour MPs.
