This can be remedied by putting in extra joists about two and one- half feet long, at the corners, as represented by accom- panying engraving :. Use as many of these corner pieces as there are sets of joists, and then line as before, being careful to have pa- per extend onto the side walls several inches, to prevent air from getting in at the intersection of corner pieces and sides of silo.
