The work will be largely of an experi-mental nature, with collateral reading and lecture work. While the student willwork more or lees independently, the course will be outlined and will be checkedby the instructor in charge. Advanced problems in mechanics, heat, light andelectricity will be taken up, and every opportunity offered to acquaint the studentwith the use of standard instruments in physical measurements.
