Under the place of origin of the sut. par. out of the sut. cor. we see the frontal bone penetrating into the parietale with a large round bend, which is abnormal, for generally a protruding part of the parie- tale penetrates into the frontal bone. The linea temporalis is only to be seen on the frontale, not on the parietale. Besides squamosum and frontal bone show cerebral relief on the outside (Schwalbe 21) which is known for Cercopithecus. On the squamosum the fissura suprasylvia posterior (?) is to be seen. Finally I want to point out the curving and incision of the sut. squam. in the squamosum. Papiomaimon? Skull also belonging to the Mu- seum of the Zootomic. Laborat. of Leiden. Of this skull the petrosum and bulla tympani on the left side are wanting, distinct rests of a sut. side nothing is to be seen of it. inf. are distinctly to be noticed. Fig-. 1. Further it is complete. I have observed par. on the left os parietale. On the right The linea temporalis sup. and The OS occipitale has two incisions on the right and on the left, perhaps rests of the sutura mendosa? The peculiarity of the sutura parietalis in this case is that this suture is not continuative. It rather consists of a number of holes and little holes and little pieces of suture, which are distinctly on one line, and run in the middle horizontally over the parietale. Besides this peculiar suture seems to show two branches, one on the back part and one on the front part of its course, so that we see a rather z-shaped figure, in which the middle beam represents the proper suture and the upper and lower beams are branches of it. All three parts have been built in abo
