A regulation helmet for the First Arcièren Life Guards, according to the 1905 standard for equipment and uniforms of the First Arcièren Life Guards. Fire-silver plated, nickel-silver skull, with the master's mark "HS" on the nape. Armory stamps "N20" and "40D". The number "7" is stamped on the top. The bronze, crowned double eagle and the beautifully worked mountings which show some scratched marks and stamped numbers are fire gilded with abrasions in places.
