The beaches of Atlantic coast are broad and inviting. These images are of the Pontal de Maracaipo, near the village of Os Santos and part of the village of Porto de galinhas, State of They are used primarily by local but visitors are well received. Sparsely populated, they are great places for sun bathing, ocean swimming, surf boarding and picnics. There is also a section that is a feeding ground for sea horses and pole boat rides to a mangrove swamp.
