JOINT BASE ELMENDORF-RICHARDSON, Alaska -- Alaska Air Guard communications personnel from the 176th and 168th Wing learned to extend the Air Force network boundary to deployed locations with a Pacific Air Forces-deveoloped system here Sep. 19 to 24, 2016. Mr. Randy Lee, an engineer with PACAF's information technology and operations group and key designer in the project, instructed the Alaska-based Airmen to get quicker access to communication systems anywhere from a field to off-base locations such as recruiters' offices.
