The action of two esteemeddeparted members is gratefullyremembered—John Skinner, inleaving the interest on a sum ofover $4000 to be perpetually given as an annual subscription tothe General Missionary Fund through our Church; and WillardR. Birely, in bequeathing to the Trustees for the carrying on ofour regular work a sum in excess of $ MR. S. F. LAZIER. Centenary Centenary Church has stood for much in the life a Po wff^r . ^ . of Hamilton, and its influence has extended far for Good beyond the citys bounds. Its pulpit has been occupied by men of high character andoutstanding ability, who preached the Gospel of the Grace ofGod with power and great earnestness. John Potts, HughJohnston, W. W. Carson, W. W. Ross, William J. and Samuel , Ezra A. Stafford, J. V. Smith and others (dead andliving), each with an individuality all his own and with giftsdistinguishing him from all others, made the Church a factorfor righteousness in this community. And to this power for good much was contributed by themen and women who were its active members in the years thatare past. As one recalls those sainted ones he remembers what
