0911113215T-024 PACIFIC OCEAN (Nov. 11, 2009) The primary hose team of an at-sea fire party aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN 73) enter the No. 2 Pump Room to simulate fighting a class Bravo fuel fire. George Washington, the Navy’s only permanently forward-deployed aircraft carrier, is participating in Annual Exercise (ANNUALEX 21G), a yearly, bilateral exercise with the Navy and the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force.
