For Bishop Dyonisius and Krikor Vartabed—the latter an Armenian bishop—being enlightened by theGospel light, rendered the missionaries invaluable help to trans-late the Bible, both in Armeno-Turkish and Armenian vernacu-lar. With the untiring efforts of these two prelates the Biblewas printed in the vernacular, and was spread by them, in com-pany with one of the missionaries, far and wide in Asia went almost everywhere, and gave away Bibles.
