Tiotropium bromide monohydrate Molecular model of the drug tiotropium bromide monohydrate ( ). This anticholinergic bronchodilator is sold under the brand name Spiriva. It is used for maintenance treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) which includes chronic bronchitis and emphysema. Atoms are represented as spheres and are colour-coded: carbon (grey), hydrogen (white), nitrogen (blue), oxygen (red), sulphur (yellow) and bromine (brown).
