Roman Forum with Rostra and Temple of Saturn
The Rostra is the name of the speakers' platform in the forum in ancient Rome. At first, prows of defeated ships were affixed to it and later heads of people declared public enemies. In 338 , the prows of six ships were attached. The Rostra was expanded but still became crowded with memorials. Behind stands the remaining columns of the Temple of Saturn, the Roman god of agriculture.
