Relief Supplies-Malden Red Cross officials received emergency relief supplies of cots and blankets from the Army at Ft. Devens. Other Massachusetts and Rhode Island Red Cross chapters also received some of the 40 trucks, 3,000 blankets, six generators, and 2,000 mattresses and cots distributed by the Army for hurricane relief.
