The drug store was not openedfor business at that hour and noone was inside. There were two passengers on the ear, both ofwhom escaped by jumping; the motorman was caught betweenthe dash and the body of the car but suffered only slight cuts andbruises and was able to extricate CHANGES IN LOS ANGELES. .V syndicate comprising C.
