The ma-chinery in these shopsis sufficient to allowof handling about 75to 100 tons steel in aworking day of ninehours, all on theground floor. The power housecontaining two Sulli-van air compressorsis in this building onthe ground floor, alsothe warehouse andstock room, the join-ers and carpentersshop, and the moldloft. On the secondfloor the rooms areall large and welllighted. and someidea of the size canbe got when it is saidthe building is 4855 feet long by 210 feet /.
