Butler wonfirst place in the half-mile, breaking the state record for that event. In 1916 our track team met outside schools in dual meets andten men, Bossingham, Day, Koehring, Perkins, Wagner, Fehr, Gal-loway, Dix, Dougherty, and Bybee were picked from the results oftheir meets to represent Iech in the State meet at Franklin.
