Baker, Nevada - Truck driver Ken Johnson loads hay from Baker Ranches on a set of triple trailers to deliver to a customer. Baker Ranches raises cattle and grows alfalfa and other crops. Nevada ranchers are opposing the Southern Nevada Water Authority's plan to build a 300-mile pipeline to pump billions of gallons of water annually to Las Vegas. They fear the removal of so much water from their valleys would dry up their springs and make ranching impossible.
