During the second weekend of August, a curious representation takes place every year in the Dutch city of The Hague. Knights, craft markets, theatrical performances, etc. Dozens of participants and actors recreate the moments of the Middle Ages that were important in one of Holland's most iconic castles, Binnenhof. From the 8th century to the present day, this castle has been the seat of power and government in the Netherlands. In fact, this building is currently one of the oldest in Europe created to house a government while maintaining its original function.
