MuUis has just returned from Peterborough and reports a full meet- ing of the executive committee of the Canadian Horticultural Association at the National hotel there, with Mr. Wal- ter Muston presiding. Matters were discussed in connection with the an- nual convention, to be held in that city next August, when it is to be hoped there will be something done. We pre- fer to say "something done" rather than "something doing," as the lat- ter phrase suggests more talk than ac- tion sometimes, and action is what is badly needed in the C. H. A., if one may be excused for speaking plainly. Mark Henderson was elected by ac- clamation to fill the vacancy on the Brampton town council last week. G. Muller, of the Julius Eoehrs Co., Eutherford, N. J., made a special trip here last week, in the interests of his firm. H. G. Dillemuth and J. A. Neal, of Toronto, and J. G.
