Entrance to "Reginald's Tower", Waterford, County Waterford, Eire (Ireland).


A unique early medieval "drum tower" built by Reginald the Dane, in 1003. It once formed part of the original defences to the town and is one of the earliest mortared defensive towers to survive in Europe.
