Sapperton, Gloucestershire. 23rd April, 2017. A carpet of bluebells (Hyacinthoides non-scripta) covers the ground in Siccaridge and Sapperton Valley woodlands. Visitor to the woodlands enjoy the late April warm weather before a cold spell from the north is expected early next week. The protected bluebell is awesome sight and the flowers are appearing en-masse as a blue blanket throughout the ancient habitats in Gloucestershire. Credit: Wayne Farrell/Alamy Live News
