Würflein" and "CITY OF PHILARA" are stamped on the side of the breech. Front action percussion lock, the lock plate is inscribed "SUHL" beneath a double eagle and "" above an anchor. Walnut full stock with the double eagle and anchor branded on the side opposite the lock, and the number "51" on the butt stock. Stamped brass furniture with two (replacement) iron sling swivels.
