The millet grasses belong to thisgenus. They have been treated in Part I. Paspalum. Among the wild indigenous grasses there are severalspecies of this genus that are held in high repute as grazing disticlunn. Paspalum digitaria and Paspalum angustifolium 13H are all numbered among the grasses found in cultivated fields and fre-quently in the highway pastures of the barrens and indeed in nearlyevery natural division of the state.
