FREEPORT, Bahamas (June 14, 2017) Aviation Boatswain's Mate (Handling) 2nd Class Jeffrey Opare attempts to steal the ball from the opposing team during a soccer game between Sailors from the amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7) and the Freeport Rugby and Football Club. Iwo Jima is in Freeport for a scheduled port visit to continue growing the long-standing relationship between the and the Bahamas and allow the ship’s crew to experience the culture of the Caribbean nation.
