Unstan Chambered Cairn is a 5000 year old neolithic burial chamber found on the banks of Stenness Loch near Stromness on mainland Orkney in the north of Scotland. It has been preserved in excellent condition and shows the skilled stonework of our forebears. Archaeologists found pottery remains among the bones inside which has become known as unstan ware.
