The motifs are connected to each other by a fine mesh soil, a drizzle soil. The full work is largely made of linen with openwork edges and few cut-outs and partly in net stroke. Most motifs are provided with cloned relief contours. Various ornamental grounds have been used, including painted braided grounds, a snowflake ground and an ornamental ground with a diamond-shaped pattern. The upper side is finished with a separately cloned strap.
