Lake district of Northern Italy, the delightful village of Pella on the lake Orta, on the opposite side of town Orta. Characteristic white, pink and yellow houses with red roofs crowded on the lake shore and a lot of boats. A clothes line can be seen as well. lake Orta, North Italy lake district, Footage of Apls. It was photographed from the hill called The Sacred Mount of the old Italian town of Orta, which is set on the edge of a peninsula within the lake. This island is the famous landmark of the area, it is a the small island called San Giulio only a kilometer or so from the town of Orta. It is visited by great amount of tourists.
